Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Orlando is one of the biggest and most anticipated electronic dance music festivals in Florida, United States. For the 2024 edition, laser technology once again played a crucial role in bringing the festival's visual spectacle to life. To achieve this, EDC Orlando relied on Pangolin’s BEYOND Universe and FB4 hardware, with Laser Image providing the laser gear and running the show.

The Team Behind the Lasers

Laser Image NL, a leading provider of high-quality laser solutions for live events, was entrusted with the responsibility of supplying and operating the laser systems for EDC Orlando as they have for several years now. Pangolin BEYOND and FB4: The Laser Technology

To meet the demands of EDC Orlando’s high-energy performances, Laser Image deployed fleets of laser systems, fit for each stage. Pangolin’s BEYOND Universe was the backbone of laser control, offering precise and dynamic management of multiple laser systems while ensuring perfect synchronization with music and stage effects. The FB4 control hardware enabled a streamlined setup, reducing complexity while allowing real-time control and automation.

One of the festival’s stages featured Kvant Clubmax lasers, known for their high-output, full-color laser effects. These lasers were integrated with Pangolin’s PASS (Professional Audience Safety System) hardware, ensuring that audience scanning was performed both safely and legally, delivering an immersive yet responsible visual experience.
